Road Trip to Cape Cod - Day 5

Thursday Today was a very rainy day! We found a few activities to keep us busy. Our first stop was the Cape Cod Chips factory where we did a free self guided tour. We watched the kettle cooked chips produced from start to finish where we got a free sample.
Then we drove to Woods Hole, a town quite devoted to oceanic research. There are quite a few free things to do here! We started by exploring the Woods Hole science aquarium. It’s part of the Woods Hole Oceanographic institute. We did a self guided walk through the small aquarium where we saw lots of unique fish and other animals from that area.

From there we walked over the draw bridge and came upon a crowd watching a bird in the water trying to eat a big fish. We joined the crowed as they cheered on the bird. We made our way to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Ocean Science Discovery Centre. They had a large Titanic display and the boys enjoyed playing in the submarine.
The rain was still falling quite hard when we walked back to our car, but we decided to drive by the Nobska Lighthouse before heading back to our hotel to dry off.
While driving back to our hotel, we decided to detour to Sandy Neck beach to check out the sand dunes and spectacular views.

This looked like an awesome beach to park an RV!
After playing in the wet sand and rain, we headed back to the hotel where Logan and Hamish enjoyed a night time swim before bed.
